Bringing art to life from Recycled hard drives

IMG_20190711_153752_974.jpg

All of my art is created from hard drive parts from 1955 up to today. I have collected hard drives from all over the world.  Each piece is unique and some even historical. I have removed thousands of screws, recycled over 1700 pounds of aluminum and circuit boards. Hard drives have been a key part of our society since the 50s, starting slowly where only large corporations could lease time on hard drives and building up to where we are today, where everyone uses them one way or another every day. From all the various formats, only two are still being manufactured today, 3.5" and 2.5" drives. Soon enough there will be no more platters, and no more moving parts for our storage needs as newer technology and Solid State Drives become more cost effective. Until then, here is where your data was saved.

Some fan comments:

"Fantastic! Had the same idea using old hard drives, but your creativity has taken this to another level"

"Don't ever stop dude, you're one of my favorite artists on here",   "You keep blowing my mind",   "I love how creative you are! Your work is amazing!",   "what a fresh AF account so unique so cool so you!! Keep going",   "Amazing! 😁 love your content"
