Created with hard drive platters from 2.5", 1.8", 1.25", and 1" drives. There are connector wires that used to connect the actuators to the circuit board. The flowers and grass are made with "golden fingers", which can be found on the end of the circuit board used to connect the hard drive to the controller card or motherboard. Typically the gold used is 98% pure, 24 carat gold and is 30 to 50 micro inches thick on both sides. These were used mostly up until SATA became standard.
